I was bowling in a tournment last weekend with a long pattern.  The cut line was somewhere around +35 for 4 games and I missed it by a few.  I was -4 going into the 3rd game when I tossed a buck 56.  I came back the final game with strikes in the 7th, 8th, and 9th, then a solid ringing 10.  I played between the 4 and 8 boards pretty much the whole time and tried to slow the ball down to give the ball a chance to return to the pocket.   The scoring was low except for a few central region Tour players.

Does anyone have sucessful plans for bowling on these conditions before entering a tournment?
